U.S. officials told the network that the report was circulated earlier this month, ahead of Trump’s decision last week to cancel his upcoming summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un.
However, Trump has said that the summit could still happen. A U.S. delegation traveled to the country over the weekend to discuss the possible meeting.
Trump tweeted last month that the country had agreed to denuclearize. While agreeing to halt missile tests and close a nuclear test site, North Korea has not yet agreed to give up its nuclear weaponѕ.
Sleepy Eyes Chuck Todd of Fake News NBC just stated that we have given up so much in our negotiations with North Korea, and they have given up nothing. Wow, we haven’t given up anything & they have agreed to denuclearization (so great for World), site closure, & no more testing!

The CIA investigation allegedly proposes that the US can be more effective in getting Kim to switch the country’s later advance on its atomic program, than getting the country to denuclearize altogether.
Officials also told NBC News that the report stated that Kim might be willing to open a Western hamburger franchise in the capital of Pyongyang as a gesture of goodwill toward Trump. Trump is well-known for his preference for fast food like McDonald’s.
Trump abruptly canceled the summit with North Korea last week, citing Kim’s “tremendous anger and open hostility” toward the U.S. in a letter to the leader. The meeting was scheduled to be held on June 12 in Singapore.
The president tweeted early Tuesday that meetings are “currently taking place” about a possible summit, adding that there was a “solid response to my letter.”
We have put a great team together for our talks with North Korea. Meetings are currently taking place concerning Summit, and more. Kim Young Chol, the Vice Chairman of North Korea, heading now to New York. Solid response to my letter, thank you!
